This Privacy Policy explains how Sutradhar Interior And Contracts Pvt Ltd ("Sutradhar", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website or contact us. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

1. What we collect

  • Enquiries: your name, phone number, email address, project type, location, budget range and any message you send us.
  • Job applications: your name, contact details, city, experience, portfolio link, message and the resume you upload.
  • Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) kept for security and troubleshooting.
  • Preferences: the theme and effects you pick in the site's Design Studio are stored only in your own browser (local storage). We cannot see them.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell personal data.

2. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and to prepare quotations, designs and project proposals.
  • To assess job applications and contact candidates.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

3. Legal basis and consent

By submitting a form you consent to us processing the details you provide for the purpose stated on that form. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us (see section 8). Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

4. Sharing

We share personal data only where needed to deliver your project — for example with our execution partner Dev Interior Projects, vendors or site teams working on your project — or where the law requires it. Everyone we share data with is expected to keep it confidential.

5. Retention

  • Enquiries: up to 3 years after our last contact, unless a project follows.
  • Client project records: as long as required by tax and contract law.
  • Job applications: up to 12 months, so we can consider you for future openings. Ask us and we will delete it sooner.

6. Security

The website uses HTTPS. Form data is stored on our own server and is accessible only to authorised staff through a password-protected admin panel.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, or to nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. You may also raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.

9. Third-party services

Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts, an embedded Google Map, and some stock photography or video from Unsplash and Pexels. Those providers may receive your IP address when their content loads, under their own privacy policies.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
